MediaPOINTE’s VIDi2d decoder is used in conjunction with the VIDi2 encoder blade for video over IP transport. The VIDi products stream DVD quality video over your LAN or WAN. The VIDi2d connects to any display, TV, plasma or LCD and decodes a live stream from any of the VIDi2 encoder blades on the network. Corporations, education and government institutions can create their own broadcast network with the VIDi products.
The VIDi2d is designed to be both discreet and robust. The slim-line black case can be mounted under a desk or counter top and is designed to discourage unauthorized removal. With the remote control access the unit is easily controlled by the user and multiple channels can be selected within the network
